What is psychodynamic psychotherapy?

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a talking therapy based on the idea that patterns of being and relating in the past can be repeated in the present and cause difficulties unless they can be understood.

Through an evolving relationship built on trust and mutual respect, therapist and client work together to identify these, leading to greater insight and freedom for the client.

We are an inclusive practice and welcome people of any background, gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

Does psychotherapy work?
